John Edmunds is the daddy.  That was the overwhelming opinion of the public as he secured the latest poll vote with over 27% of you suggesting that he is the father of Beth Cordrey’s unborn child.  The silver-haired pensioner has always been a legend in drinking circles but after impregnating a woman nearly forty years his junior, maybe his stock in the love stakes will rise.

The Kronenbourg drinker (pictured alongside Liam Egan) was very circumspect about the poll result and did little to dampen down the rumours, refusing to deny that he is the father.  Seeing as he is the lover, brother Joey must be the fighter!

Given that 64-year-old Edmunds watches most of the first team games, Terry Cordrey is rumoured to be considering doing a Wayne Bridge and has spoken to John Wyatt about not being included for selection.  He has also indicated that he will refuse to shake John’s hand when they meet next.

Second place went to Tilbury cage fighter Alan Booker with 11% of the votes, whilst perennial fat bloke Richie Shephard claimed 10% despite being a renowned Jaffa.
